Ultrahochauflösenden Fotos mit dreidimensionaler Tiefendarstellung auf dem aktuellsten Stand der Bildtechnik: Die herausragendste Eigenschaft von Platinum+ ist das brilliant scharfe Bildwerk, bestehend aus extrem hochauflösenden Satellitenbildern und Luftaufnahmen. Die georeferenzierten Informationen führen in der Überlagerungsansicht zu einer im Vergleich zu Platinum vierfach höheren Auflösung von 25 cm per Pixel. Darüber hinaus bietet Platinum+ eine Fülle von technischen Details, die die Navigation noch übersichtlicher machen: Die Panorama-Aufnahmen von Marinas, Häfen und Hafeneinfahrten sind erstmals in XGA-Auflösung, d.h. mit 1024 x 768 Pixeln darstellbar. In die dreidimensionale Ansicht des Tiefenprofils fließen nun viel mehr Meßpunkte ein, so dass ein differenzierteres Bild der Untergrundbeschaffenheit erstellt werden kann. Der komplette Satz von Schifferhandbüchern wurde georeferenziert, um die umfassenden Angaben noch einfacher zugänglich zu machen.
