Die neue Generation von BlueChart g2 weist mit hoher Auflösung und einer insgesamt verbesserten Darstellung von Daten auf dem Display des Plotters zahlreiche Verbesserungen auf, die für die Seeschifffahrt hilfreich sind. Zusätzlich zu den Basiskarten, Gezeitengebieten, Strömungen, Tiefenangaben, IALA-Symbolen und integrierten Angelkarten bietet BlueChart g2 optimierte Übergänge zwischen Zoommaßstäben und nahtlosere Kontinuität bei Kartengrenzen.

Anpassbare Bildschirme

BlueChart g2 fügt zudem Einstellungen für die sichere Tiefe hinzu, damit Benutzer bis zu fünf Werte für bestimmte Tiefenlinienintervalle auswählen können. Die Angelkarten wurden entwickelt, um bathymetrische Konturen mit weniger Störungen auf dem Display hervorzuheben. Darüber hinaus kann zwischen zwei Kartenansichten (Standard-2D-Ansicht von oben und einer 3D-Ansicht mit Blick über den Bug) gewählt werden, wodurch einfaches Kartenlesen und problemlose Orientierung möglich sind
